Her story

She waited it out and stayed sweet.

Then

Her home is lost in a fire. Everything changes at once.

Almost two years

A neighbor takes her in for a short stay. It turns into a routine of walks, naps, and on-time vet visits.

Now

She was a great house guest. She deserves a family who chose her for good.

Is Wolfe your dog?

Five questions. No wrong answers.

Wolfe is calm and easy, but she is still part husky. Check that your life and hers line up. At the end you get a message ready to send.

Meeting other dogs

She may run up and say hi. That is all it is.

Wolfe can be keen to get close to a new dog. She is not aggressive. A few minutes of sniffing later she plays well and gets along. Three steps make it smooth.

1. Start on leash, side by side+

Walk both dogs in the same direction first, a few meters apart. Skip the head-on greeting. It lets her settle before saying hello.

2. Let them sniff, then move on+

Allow a short sniff, then keep walking. Repeat a few times. Her eagerness fades once she knows the other dog.

3. Off leash once everyone is relaxed+

In a fenced space, let them play. After the first few minutes she is a good playmate.

How adoption works

Careful, so she only moves once.

Step 1Say hello

Send the message from the quiz, or write your own. Tell us about your home and routine.

Step 2Meet at a park

A walk on neutral ground. Bring your dog and any kids at home.

Step 3Two-week trial

She comes home with you. If it is not working, she comes back to us, never to a shelter.

Step 4Make it official

Sign the adoption agreement, update the microchip, and take her vet records home.

Give her the couch.

Send your message and she will be the first to know. A small rehoming fee goes toward her care and keeps the process committed.
